RADBURN ASSOCIATION LIFEGUARD EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION

Applications will open on January 15th.  We highly recommend applying early as some positions fill quickly.

Positions Available:

Assistant Pool Manager is responsible for: 1) assisting the Pool Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Radburn Association Pools; 2) supervising a team of personnel, charged with ensuring the safety of pool members and guests using the facilities; 3) Supervise seasonal staff, ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met, and is expected to interact with the public in a courteous, helpful and professional manner at all times. Only Lifeguards with more than 3 Seasons of experience will be considered for this position.

Head Lifeguard provides lead supervision for Lifeguards, monitors activities at the pool, and functions as a Lifeguard.  Gives instructions in pool operating procedures, rules, safety practices, maintenance, and related matters.  Conducts safety checks of the facility and coordinates the maintenance of the pool and the facility. Only lifeguards with more than 2 seasons of experience will be considered for this position.

Lifeguard   Must be responsible, attentive and competent swimmer.  Should be able to think critically, make decisions, work well with others, and be safety-conscious.  Will train and opportunities are available to be certified or re-certified through the Radburn Association. Training opportunities will be provided for prospective lifeguards. Reimbursement of the training cost  is available to guards that work more than 150 hours in the upcoming pool season. Applicant must be 15 years old by May 1st.
