CHILDREN’S SUMMER PROGRAM EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Do you enjoy being outdoors in the summer? The Radburn association is looking for conscientious, attentive, responsible individuals to join our summer programs family.  Complete the APPLICATION  to be part of our summer team and we will contact you with further information.

Camp Counselors (must be 16 years old by June 2026) - Part-time, weekdays June 29th - August 7th 9:15 am - 12:15 pm (no camp on July 3rd).  Must be reliable and enjoy working with children.  May need to be available for off-site trips and weekly evening events.  Limited spots are available for extended hours with our lunch/afternoon program.  Please be sure to respond in the application if you are interested in extended hours.

Swim instructors - Looking for experienced swimmers to teach swim lessons to children Kindergarten through 6th grade during our morning summer camp .  Part-time, weekdays June 30th - July 31st 9:15 am - 12:15 pm (no camp on July 3rd). Must also be available for Tot Swim Lessons (3-5 years old) Thursdays only - July 2nd - August 6th 1:00pm-2:00 pm.   Must be reliable and enjoy working with children.  Lifeguard certification preferred, but not required.  

Head Swim Coach- Looking for a motivated, responsible, strong swimmer with coaching or swim team experience.  The Head Coach will represent Radburn at the league meetings.   They will help coordinate the swim league with other teams to plan the summer schedule.   The Head Coach will oversee the Radburn coaching staff and organize & plan practices.  Prior to the summer, the head coach will ensure that all equipment is in good, working condition, plan swimsuit fittings, tryouts and parent meetings. 

Assistant Swim Coaches - Looking for experienced swimmers to help coach our Radburn Flying Fish summer swim team.  Practices begin mid-June in the evenings until school is done.  Then practices are held in the mornings Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 9:30 (not all coaches will be required) and 12:00 - 1:00 pm (required).  Must also be available to attend meets in the evening 2 times a week in July. Lifeguard certification preferred, but not required.

GATE GUARDS 

(Must be over 18 Years Old)

Looking for friendly, organized individuals to manage and control the entrance and exit of the pool area for members and their guests.  Must be computer savvy.  Gate Guards must be able to multitask and manage with frequent interruptions, changes, and delays.  For safety reasons, Gate Guards must remain at the table by the gate at all times and be aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns within the pool area. 

All Gate Guards will be trained prior to the start of the season.  Must be able to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

LIFEGUARDS AND ASSISTANT POOL MANAGERS

Join our team this summer at the Radburn Association Pools! We're looking for responsible, dedicated individuals to help ensure the safety and enjoyment of our pool members and guests. Complete your APPLICATION, and we will contact you with further details.

Positions Available:

Assistant Pool Manager -The Assistant Pool Manager will assist the Pool Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Radburn Association Pools, supervise a team of lifeguards, and ensure the safety of pool members and guests. This position also involves ensuring cleanliness and maintenance standards and interacting with the public in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner. Qualifications: Lifeguards with more than 3 seasons of experience will be considered for this position.

Head Lifeguard - The Head Lifeguard will provide lead supervision for lifeguards, monitor pool activities, and function as a lifeguard when needed. Responsibilities include giving instructions on pool operating procedures, rules, and safety practices, conducting safety checks, and coordinating with the Assistant Managers and Pool Manager. Qualifications: Lifeguards with more than 2 seasons of experience will be considered for this position.

Lifeguard - If you are a responsible and attentive swimmer, this is the position for you! As a lifeguard, you'll be expected to think critically, make decisions, work well with others, and prioritize safety. Training opportunities are available, and we provide certification or recertification through the Radburn Association. Qualifications: Must be at least 15 years old by May 1st. Reimbursement of training costs is available to guards who work more than 150 hours in the season.
